Covering 27 U.S. states,the UK and Germany, Fisher House assists patients and families that are being treated at military and veteran hospitals at no cost to the family.


OUR HEALERS ON HEALING:

Lawrence LeShan, Ph.D., is a research and clinical psychologist who has worked with people with cancer for over forty years. His research has led many of them to find new, often effective ways to triumph over their illness by using it as a turning point to change and enrich their lives. He is the author of several books, including You Can Fight For Your Life and Cancer as a Turning Point.
Larry Serves on the SCC Board of Directors.

Bernie Siegel, M.D., a retired pediatric surgeon, Bernie is a well known figure in the mind/body field and is greatly responsible for it's success. Besides his best selling book, Love, Medicine and Miracles, Bernie has written numerous volumes and continues to be a strong champion and advocate for cancer patients world-wide. Bernie's former organization, ECap (Exceptional Cancer Patients) provided support for tens of thousands of cancer patients and their families for over 25 years.
Bernie serves on the Advisory Board for SCC.
