The Simonton Cancer Center is also the only international certifying body for the certification of counselors for cancer patients.

The Simonton Cancer Center now offers a wide variety of on-line resources and aids for those who wish to learn more about the Simonton method. Dr. O. Carl Simonton wins the Humanitarian Award from the Cancer Control Society in recognition for his 30 years of ground-breaking work in the field of oncology.

Dr. Simonton's colleagues, Dr.'s Aleksandra and Mariusz Wirga, begin a Simonton program for cancer patients for the Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
